Xiaomi recently launched Redmi Note 8 Pro with Redmi Note 8 in the Indian market. The price of both phones is very aggressive. The starting price of Redmi Note 8 is Rs 9,999. Redmi Note 8 will have three variants – 3 GB RAM and 32 GB storage, 4 GB RAM and 64 GB storage, 4 GB RAM and 128 GB storage. It looks like the company is working on another upgrade of the smartphone. Which will reportedly be known as Redmi Note 8T. This may be an upgrade or a different variant of the existing phone of the Redmi Note 8 series. Real and renders (pictures made of graphics) of the Redmi Note 8T have been leaked on the Internet. Claims have also been made about the price and specifications of this phone.
Other specifications of this smartphone have also been revealed.
It is equipped with a 48-megapixel quad-camera setup, 6.3-inch Dewdrop Notch and Corning Gorilla Glass 5. It has been reported that the phone is equipped with a 4,000 mAh battery, USB Type-C port and 18W fast charging. NFC support is also mentioned which was not a part of Redmi Note 8.
It also has a Snapdragon 665 processor. The retail box reveals a larger charger, but the output is not known. We are expecting a quad-core camera setup on this phone, like the Redmi Note 8. It is expected to be given 48-megapixel primary sensor, 8-megapixel wide-angle camera, 2-megapixel macro camera, and 2-megapixel depth sensor.
That Redmi Note 8T will have three variants – 3 GB RAM and 32 GB storage, 4 GB RAM and 64 GB storage, 4 GB RAM and 128 GB storage. The alleged Redmi Note 8T will have three color variants – Moonshadow Gray, Moonlight White, and Star space Blue. That 4 GB RAM / 64 GB storage variant of the phone will cost 199 Euro (about 15,600 rupees).
According to the information so far, it appears that the main difference between the Redmi Note 8 and the Redmi Note 8T will be NFC support. Because the latest leak has revealed a picture of the retail box. This is indicative of the launch of the phone soon.
